Cute and small place. They have music playing which is nice. The food was 7/10. We got the plantains with the beef on them. It said it had creole sauce on them but they were super super dry. They gave us a green sauce which was delicious but it was only very little and not enough for the 4 big plantains. The portions are great for the price in my opinion. My entree was the pork tenderloin which was delicious. The service may be the worst I've had in awhile. They forgot my salad and said it would be out - never got it. When we brought it back up they said they would make it to go - nope never happened. Our reservation was at. 6:15 and we didn't leave until 7:45 that's how slow they were and never checked up on us to see if we needed anything. They really need to hire more people or get trained on good service. It was disappointing to say the least.

The breakfast I ordered appeared delicious... and although I am so grateful for the meal itself, something was lacking… The steak had good flavor and it was tender and somewhat warm. The eggs were bland, oily, and somewhat overcooked. The rice and beans tasted as if they were reheated in a microwave. The arepa was the best part. The service wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t exceptional and it was not very busy when I arrived. There were a few waitresses and 2/5 seemed to genuinely enjoy their job, the others looked unhappy, but maybe they were having a bad day. The food and service just doesn’t compare to what I’ve experienced in Colombia, but I’m not sure if that comparison is fair either. If I ever come back to try this restaurant again, I will update my review accordingly.

I've been to this place over 20 times now and the service and athmosphere is really top of the line. You really feel welcomed and everyone there, new and old, are the type of people that make you want to come back. Food is good and their special of the day is very fair and is varied. The decor and lighting is very cozy and calming. I've done take-out and dine in, but they cater as well. They support local businesses with cards at the front and I really love to see it.

Cute place very Authentic food. The people l went with enjoyed their meal. The steak is thin but that is the style of the dish. Their coffee was the best part of my meal. No refills on the coffee so each cup given in a small cup certainly adds up. Plenty of parking in a open lot.

Had light lunch at El Atico yesterday. I was looking forward to have a good Colombian food here in Florida. I ordered 3 chicken empanadas for my husband, they were ok not the best like we had back home in New Jersey. I got myself a caldo de costilla and for me to read it the menu too fast my understanding was including arepa with cheese. So the waitress came with the empanadas and my caldo with rice on the side and she left. 3-5 mins passed by i was still waiting my arepa thought they had forgotten about it. Since we sat at outside i cant look or wave to the waiter to come by to our table so i had to wait, wait and wait until different lady came out (she might’ve the manager or the owner I’m not sure) and asked us is everything ok. So i explained her my confusion and she explained to me that they assumed most people will like it with rice. I said to myself assumed is wrong, better ask customers which one they would like just for the safest choice especially when they customers wasn’t Hispanic. She told me if I still wanted the arepa I will get charged $1 more which I was ok with it. I mean I LOVE arepa with cheese so $1 more I’m more than ok. Sooooo when they brought my arepa with cheese I was like why this looks different. I tried to eat it but the cheese that they used I’m not so sure what cheese was it. But anyway they tried for give best service/ food and I tried their food but is just not for my likes. Not to mention the caldo was also kind of salty for me, the price was also a bit high for a caldo that most of it just broth with one piece chunk of beef and one big potato for almost $18. At the end of it, they didn’t charged the extra $1 for me which that was a nice things to do from them. That was my own experience to tell.

Their Colombian food is fine, but I would never come here for breakfast again. This was the saddest avocado toast I have ever had in my life. It’s shameful to even serve it, it was literally that bad. Will I come back for Colombian food? Yes. Hopefully, this isn’t a sign that management changed or something.

The food is absolutely incredible. What a gem. The restaurant is clean, the service is beyond exceptional, and the menu does not disappoint. We found this place through google while visiting and we feel it should be rated a solid 10.
